GARDAÍ have appealed to people to keep their eyes on unattended property after an opportunist stole a parcel a woman left behind in a post office.
The woman intended to post the parcel, but accidentally left it on the post office counter.
A few minutes later, she returned to find the parcel gone.
Gardaí hope to be able to identify the suspect as the area is well covered by CCTV.
“Take a moment to make sure that you have taken care of your business and have all of your property well secured before you rush off.
Criminals are always on the lookout for a chance to steal from you,” Gardaí warned.
