GARDAÍ have arrested and charged a man in his late 40s in relation to a robbery at a takeaway on Parnell Street, Co Limerick on March 11, 2019.
Shortly after 9pm a man armed with a knife entered the premises and threatened staff. The man entered the kitchen area, took some food and left the scene. No staff member was injured during the incident and no cash was taken.
Gardaí in Roxboro Road carried out an investigation and arrested a man in his late 40s yesterday afternoon, March 12, 2019. He was brought to Roxboro Road Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. He has since been charged and is due to appear before Limerick City District Court this morning at 10:30am
