GARDAÍ in Limerick are appealing for witnesses or information about a serious assault in which a man was attacked and his belongings stolen.
At 1am last Saturday morning, November 19, a man on an e-scooter was stopped by force by another man on Hyde Road .
The attacker viciously assaulted the victim by punching him in the head a number of times. The assailant then stole his e-scooter, some cash, and a black Samsung phone.
The victim made his way to Henry Street Garda station where he reported the matter and was brought to University Hospital Limerick (UHL) where he was treated for his injuries.
Gardaí at Roxboro Road Station are investigating. Anyone with any information, no matter how trivial, is asked to contact them on 061 214340.
